Matilda, and the girls, strode into the living room. They just got back from school, but none of them was happy.

"Freshen up, and come have lunch, don't stay long or sleep off." Matilda announced, but none of them responded.

"Grandma, did Daddy come over after we left for school?" Zarah asked, and she halt.

Matilda knits her brow's. 'Why would he come over when he knows they went to school' She thought.

"No, why? Did something happen?" She asked, getting fascinated.

"He promised to come check on us when he is less busy, but he hasn't shown up." Lailah responded.

"I think he is busy, and you girls should stop making it look like it's obligatory. He is not your daddy, stop making it appear that it's his duties. I don't even know why you call him daddy."

Matilda's statement hurt them, they never got to call someone dad, and the thought of it makes them sad.
