There was still enough time before Charlotte could get to the office, so she decided to take a stroll, watch the busy road, before she hails a cab to her destination.

On her way, she fell deep in thoughts. She has been anticipating to tell her mother the truth about the girl's father, and also tell her she is dating Xavier.

But unbeknownst to her, Xavier already asked for Matilda's consent to date her, which she gave him her blessings.
