Chapter 75

MONDAY AFTERNOON

The day has been boring for the girls. They all had a sad expression right from home before Matilda dropped them off at school. She didn't bother to ask, when she knows everything was as a result of what happened days back.

Charlotte's expression has been blank, she has been crying her eyes out, and the girls are not happy about it. They suggested talking to her, but Alley stopped them. The thought of their mum unhappy makes them sad.

As always, they came to the school computer room to meet with their uncle. They have been sitting down since they came without a word from them, and he didn't push it.
