(Akira’s POV).I came back to Emerald City taking the train instead of through air. I did not want anyone to know I was back from Bloom City, especially Sebastian. We were in frequent communication, mostly from his side wanting to know as much as he could about Samuel’s mother. It was sweet at the beginning but I have reached the stage finding it being annoying much. Suffocating. He was persistent. At the early morning, I wore my exercise attire and covered my head with the hoodie from a sweatshirt I was wearing. It was my routine to jog at my neighbourhood at Emerald City.It was a way to watch Samuel from far when he got to school. One of the reasons that I did not mind paying so much rent to stay at that rented apartment, hoping I could watch my son from far.I had become his number one fan or what Molly called me as his professional stalker. Not wanting anyone to know I was back in Emerald City, I had worn a blonde wig and pretended as much as I could to be Molly. She had become
(Sebastian’s POV).“Sebastian, the decoration for your son’s party is marvellous” I was receiving well wishes from the guests that had just arrived at my family’s mansion in Amberose City.I had to give some credits to Suzanne who had planned my son’s birthday party well in such a short notice. She was also indeed talented in such matter on socialising with the public, mostly with the rich and famous. The way she greeted them with her charms and elegance, was natural. I would be interested in her if we met in different circumstances. But that moment was long gone.No matter how much effort she had put in place to seduce me, I just could not open my heart for her. I tried not just once, or twice. Even kissed her several times in the past. But I felt nothing for her.It was not at all how I felt when I kissed Akira West.Standing near the entrance door greeting my relatives who had just walked in, I was waiting for her. Eager to see her again after days of being separated. For those da
(Sebastian’s POV).She was trying to get her hand free from mine. It had only made me tightened my hold on her wrist. Not caring others were looking at us, I had forced her to follow me to have our little private talk.Honestly, I was not even sure on what I wanted to talk about. For sure, I just hated seeing that man touching Akira like as if they were an item.“Sebastian, stop. What are you doing?” she made me stop walking to face her.“We need to talk”“Like now? What is it about now? It’s the weekend and I’m not working. We can talk about work on Monday”“No!”“Sebastian, it is your son’s birthday party”I walked closer to her and towered her height. With gritted teeth I said in anger, “I said we need to talk”Not waiting for her to response, I continued to pull her wrist to follow me to where I was heading. No where in particular but the reading room nearby was a good choice. My parents barely lived in our family home in Amberose City since they separated. It was only use for so
(Sebastian’s POV).I held her hand tightly as we walked to the reading room. Not caring there were eyes and whispers of others looking at us passing by.I was sure Suzanne would soon find out about how I had reacted with Akira’s presence. I would deal with that later. For now, I needed to put some sense in Akira’s stubborn head.Dating a Norrington was something most women would crave for. A Royal blood. Both men and women, were in the opinion they were perfect looking. Charming and rich. But that was just the surface. That family kept a dark secret that my family knew about. A secret that I hoped Akira would never find out. It would haunt her life with uncertainty.Akira was trying to resist but I was much stronger than she was. I was dominant and in control. And did not plan to let go of her. Not that time.As we reached the reading room, I smiled realising it was unlocked. “Get in!”“You are insane!” she said before I forced her to enter the room. I then locked the door and ordere
(Akira’s POV).I held my breath as I lost to his control on my body. Before I could speak my words to make him stop kissing me, he had already pinned both of my hands in a grip above my head. His other hand grabbed my hair from the back as he deepened his kisses, stroking his tongue with mine. Few seconds later, our tongue entangled with one another dancing erotically.Oh, what was I doing? This had to stop. This was wrong. Then, I felt what felt like his erection rubbing on my belly. I closed my eyes, as my mind slipped into a dream state. It was what I had been dreaming at night. Craving to be touched by Sebastian, one more time.“Akira..” he whispered my name with his trembling voice. I blinked my eyes open slowly, seeing his handsome face smiling at me, “Look at me”It was something I found it difficult to do. His handsome face was the face I could remember to be the one that had took my innocence eight years ago. Meeting him changed my life. His lips moved to kiss mine again. Hu
(Sebastian’s POV).“Mom, what’s going on?”“I’m asking you the same, Bastian. What’s going on? And who is this woman that you were alone with in a locked room?” My mother wrinkled her nose, obviously not liking seeing me with another woman while I was seen to be happily engaged with Suzanne in front of her.I knew I should have told her about my plan to breakup with Suzanne, but I thought it was no longer necessary as I have found Samuel’s biological mother. It would not be long till I could finally be free from Suzanne’s threats.“Nothing is going on, Mom. She is just someone working for me. We were talking about work. Privately” I said those words just to get past her and look for my son. It was something I had said without thinking. Then, I heard Akira exhaled loudly. I looked at her and saw her frowned at me.Did I say something wrong?“He is right, Mrs Strauss. Nothing happened. It meant nothing at all” she said in a tone that I could sense she was annoyed at something I did not
(Author’s POV).Out in a cold night, darkness filled the quiet street of the central park in Amberose City. The moon was shining brightly down, lighting the park. A cold gust of wind came next, blowing its visitors into shivers. The streetlights lit the park, but it was dimly lit with calming yellow lights. For some, it was a good place and time for night walks, but for most, the place could be eerie at times, especially when you are alone. In the middle of the central park, there stood a century year old tree. Large and strong with big roots on its ground. The light from the moon shone on it giving it a golden hue coming from its shining leaves. Some said it had a past history with magical properties. A folklore tale was made known to the visitors that it had the power of granting wishes for those who the tree chooses. Many came and touched the tree while they wished for what they desired most. But not all were those the tree deemed to be the chosen ones to receive its miracle. Then
(Sebastian’s POV).I pressed on the pedal to drive faster to a location where my father thought my son would be. “The Wishing Tree? Are you sure?”What a load full of crap! I could not believe my father made my son believe in such a legend that was clearly a made-up thing for tourists.“He is just a boy. One day, he’ll forget all about it”“Dad, you are giving him a false hope!”“Oh, come on son. As if you did not believe about the wishing tree in the past”“No, I did not. A whole load of crap you tried to make me believe in”He laughed and patted my shoulders, “Chill, my boy. You are so tense. What made you become to be such a serious man? Where is that little fun boy I used to know? My little Beanie boy”“Dad!” I sighed and shook my head, “I’m 32 years old. Not a little boy anymore. I have responsibilities and Samuel is my priority”“Alright, alright! Relax. You’ll find him. Don’t worry. My grandson is stronger than he looks. I’m sure he is safe” my father and his positive thinking
