Episode 28 - Deciding on the Baby

Asher’s POV

"Phoebe is there anything you would like to say?"

Her dad asked. It seemed like he was struggling to get his words out.

"No."

Phoebe shook her head and whispered.

"It's okay dear, you don't have to say anything," Her mom said and walked to her tenderly squeezing her shoulder.

That was when I noticed the other guy with the scar on his jaw. He stole a quick glance at me and looked away.

I managed to restrain myself from taking any silly action because I was going to deal with him later.

I was broken that Phoebe still didn't look in my direction.

All of a sudden, I heard someone yelling Phoebe's name from the front porch.

It was Cole.

"Hey," he greeted everyone breathing so heavily that I thought he'd run down here.

"Did you know about this too?" Phoebe's dad asked.

A part of me hoped he denied so I could prove to Phoebe what a terrible friend he was.

But no, today was not my lucky day.

"Yeah I did," Cole replied and then turned to me.
