"That must be Alex, right?" asked Angelina to the point when Josh returned.

"Wh-what?"

"The one who called you," said again.

"Ah, y-yes. He called me to ask where you were," Josh replied, not lying.

Angelina just nodded without responding to Josh's confession with words.

"Angelina, you take it easy, I didn't tell Alex where you were," Josh continued without being asked for an explanation.

Angelina nodded again. "Yes, thank you," Angelina replied again to Josh's words casually. Without making an expression, flatly expressionless.

Josh was increasingly unable to bear seeing Angelina's condition, which almost resembled the undead.

"Angelina, you missed your lunch hour, you must be hungry, right? Tell me what you want to eat and I'll go buy it for you," Josh said again.

Angelina shook her head helplessly. "I'm not hungry."
