CHAPTER 48. WAITING

Emily reached for her mobile phone to call Angelina. Emily tried to call her best friend but she never answered.

"Where is she? Or did the man forbid her from taking calls?" Emily muttered to herself.

Not giving up, Emily tried to call her again. But she had made several calls and there was still no answer.

"Oh, maybe he doesn't dare to take calls. Then I'll just send her a message."

Then Emily typed a few words to send to Angelina.

To : Angelina.

[Angelina, Oliver is looking for you. He's waiting for you at the apartment. Can you go there for a minute? I'm sorry I couldn't keep my mouth shut, I had to give Oliver away because he kept pressing me.]

Send.

Emily was still faithfully waiting for an answer to Angelina's message but it seemed like Angelina didn't have time to answer her.

"It's okay that she didn't reply. As long as the message has been read, hopefully, Angelina and Oliver can solve their problems as soon as possible."
