“Are you serious? You’re seriously stepping down as Alpha? What– how– no, that– that’s not a good idea!” Cyrus was at a loss for words. It was obvious as he kept stammering and was unable to finish a proper sentence.

We had just captured a wolf that is, as far as we know, a part of the group who have chosen to betray their Pack and their Alpha, so technically speaking they can already be considered rogues.

I just didn’t think it would happen to my Pack. Or maybe I did. I guess it was only a matter of time that others decided to rebel against me because of the way I ruled as Alpha in the Blazing Wolves.

I admit that I am strict, that I like to do things with a hard conviction, and maybe a lot of them saw it as ruthless or merciless, but I honestly didn’t see it that way. I used to think I was doing them all a favor. All I wanted was to raise a Pack that was strong, indestructible, and ones that were ready to face anyone and anywhere. No weaknesses.
