My anger knew no bounds as I drove the kids back home, it was almost impossible not to vent out my anger and frustration about how the night went but the twins had a nice time and were oblivious of what had happened. They were very excited to have eaten a lot of ice cream that night and couldn't stop talking about it until we got home.

"Mom, will Uncle Jackson take us out tomorrow?" Jayden asked as we all headed straight for my room.

"Yes Mom, he's fun. When next will we hang out with him? Let's go out every day." Hayden said innocently.

I was losing my mind but I managed to put on a smile for their sake. I yanked the door to my room open with the hope of undressing the kids, tucking them into their beds, taking a long cold shower to soothe my nerves, and getting some sleep but I met a familiar petite figure lying on my bed instead and my anger was instantly replaced with worry as I rushed towards her.
