Selene:

My plans seemed to be going pretty well after I had managed to sleep with Jackson. He was less violent with me and even tolerated my presence. I took this as he was gradually open to me and in just a matter of time; he'll be mine.

I went to his room in search of him and stopped by the door as I saw he was on a call. Turned out he was speaking to Roselyn and he was begging her not to take the twins away from him.

I could feel the desperation in his tone and how badly he wanted to be involved in their lives but I was against it and there was no way I would stand back and watch it happen.

He loves the kids no doubt but their presence would mean a connection with Roselyn, as long as they were in his life Roselyn would also be there and it was safer to just cut the communication off. After he dropped the call, I walked in.
