Chapter 37 Strange Feeling

Audrey felt Liam's breath, which smelled of cinnamon and citrus, hit her sense of smell and the warmth made the hairs on her neck tingle.

Panicked by Liam's sudden approach, Audrey stepped back, but her feet were caught by the sofa behind her and she staggered.

Audrey's hand reflexively reached out, looking for a grip on her balance which was suddenly lost and only Liam's jacket could be grabbed.
