Chapter 5 The End, The Beginning

"It's still early," said Liam as he pulled Audrey's hand until she fell back into his arms.

He was still not satisfied with hugging Audrey's warm and dense body, which made him go crazy all night.

Surprisingly, his pen*s worked so perfectly that he was able to do it many times. It was like a comeback for Liam, after a hiatus for a long time.

In fact, before being with Audrey, he had experienced s*xual frustration many times, because even the s*xiest girl couldn't make his junior harden.

He often ends up arguing that he is not interested in the girls who offer themselves. Basically he is a hunter and prefers to enjoy the results of his hunt rather than prey that surrenders.

The reason why Liam is often laughed at by Kinn is because only the two of them know the real situation.

With Audrey none of that was necessary at all. Liam broke the girl's virginity on the bed after making long foreplay to her in the bathroom, then continued with one round on the sofa in the living room, another round on the dining table after dinner, and enjoying that addictive body again in bed  for a long duration, slowly, and feels more serene.

Audrey immediately fell asleep after that and Liam hugged her tightly when he felt her plump body curl up like a fetus as if it was cold.  Audrey's forehead was furrowed as if she was in pain and her breathing sounded heavy.

Liam couldn't understand how a human like Audrey was able to serve his crazy desires time and time again without getting tired and even compensate him as if she had experience, even though she was still a virgin.

Liam looked at the sheets stained with Audrey's virgin blood, neatly folded in the laundry box in the corner of the room. He kissed Audrey's forehead and fell asleep.

When Audrey woke up, she felt as if she had been run over by a car. She looked at the scratches on her chest, and her eyes became heavy again.

She needed to go to the hospital to check on her adoptive mother, but before that, she needed to clean up the post-s*x odor in the bathroom.

Audrey went into the bathroom. She looked at her n*ked body in the mirror, seeing how her appearance had changed to look like a leopard with colorful hickey marks ranging from red, dark red, purplish blue, and dark purple.

Liam was very fierce and strong, but strangely, the harder Liam kissed, the more Audrey forgot herself and treated him as if she were a professional.

She was in pain after her virginity was broken by several thrusts of Liam's manhood, but after that a pleasure she never knew existed made Audrey unable to stop soaring to heaven on earth in Liam's arms.

Crazy, whispered Audrey while pointing at herself in the mirror. Not only did you give your virginity to the man, but you also acted like his whore all night long.

You are shameless, Audrey. You sold yourself to him, the brain in Audrey's head said. But, it's for the mother, said Audrey's heart.

Audrey sighed and quickly took a shower. She had to check on the condition of her mother who was going to have surgery this morning.

Audrey saw that Liam was still sleeping after she finished showering. She checked her bag which felt heavy and saw a thick brown envelope inside. Audrey looked at Liam's broad, n*ked back and whispered a thank you, then she immediately left without waking him.

Audrey felt restless throughout the journey and became even more confused when she saw the activity in the room, where her mother usually occupied.

Doctor Elard Saga saw Audrey's arrival and detained her at the entrance.  "Doctor Elard, how is my mother? Is she ready for surgery?" Audrey asked worriedly.

Doctor Elard sighed. "I'm sorry, Ms. Audrey8, but your mother died twenty minutes ago. I contacted you since her condition deteriorated, but your phone has been inactive since last night."

Audrey's whole body was weak and her head was dizzy. She swayed and almost fell if Doctor Elard hadn't quickly restrained him.

Audrey was allowed to come in to see her mother after a few moments to calm down. The woman he loved lay stiff, but her lips smiled peacefully.

"Mom, you're not sick anymore," Audrey muttered. "I'm sorry for coming late." Audrey kissed her mother's cheeks and forehead and cried silently.

Doctor Elard watched Audrey, who was sobbing, with feelings of emotion and sympathy.

"Ms. Audrey, we will immediately take care of the funeral and we will return the excess money for the operation costs that were transferred last night after the paperwork is completed," said Doctor Elard carefully.

Audrey nodded and gave Doctor Elard a business card. "Doctor, can I ask you for help regarding my mother's affairs?"  asked Audrey.

"Sure, Ms. Audrey, please."

"Please contact this person, and let him handle all my mother's affairs, including the excess money, just put it into the account of this orphanage. I will tell him after this so that he is prepared."

Doctor Elard took the business card offered by Audrey and nodded. Audrey approached her mother's body and kissed her forehead again, for a long time.

"I have to go, Mom. Please, pray for me. I love you forever."

Audrey walked unsteadily out of the hospital without looking back. She has made up her mind, she will not go back to Liam.

Audrey called a taxi and left the place.

Five Years Later

"Doctor Audrey, congratulations, you really deserve to be considered a miracle hand," said a shaved-headed man with a bushy gray mustache and beard.

He is Professor Leon Jongshin, deputy director of Light Wing hospital, and Audrey's mentor during the first year Audrey started working at Light Wing hospital.

"Ah, Professor Leon, I only did what a surgeon should do. If not me, others could do it too," said Audrey humbly.

"No, no, Doctor Audrey. The speed of your hands is the determining factor. The surgeon would not dare take the risk of carrying out the operation, especially because the patient is the cousin of the Minister of Home Affairs," said Professor Leon, rolling his eyes.

Audrey laughed. "I'm happy that I was given the trust to do it."

"You want to go home?"

"Yes. I think I should rest now, because tomorrow morning there is one other operation scheduled for me."

"Yeah, yeah, go home safely."

Audrey drove casually and stopped briefly at an ice cream cafe to buy a box of chocolate ice cream and several types of snacks.

Her steps into the apartment were immediately blocked by two small children who shouted excitedly to greet her.

"MOMMY!" shouted the kids happily.

"Oh, kids, you could break your mother's legs by hanging on her like that!"  scolded a woman in her late 30s who was following behind the two small children.

Audrey laughed and grabbed one of the kids' hand. "Just leave it, Mrs. Pram. Children, come sit neatly on the chairs or Mommy won't share this delicious ice cream with you!"

Audrey lifted the ice cream box in her hand and the two children immediately ran into the dining room and sat neatly on chairs.

"I'll go now, Doctor Audrey. You just need to heat dinner and I've prepared the children's school uniforms and clothes for work tomorrow in the cupboard," said Mrs. Pram.

"Thank you, Mrs. Pram."

Audrey accompanied Mrs. Pram Anontara, a woman who usually helps her look after her children when Audrey works.

Mrs. Pram lives three floors below Audrey's apartment, a single parent with a child who already works outside the city.

She was lonely because she lived alone and liked Audrey's children, so when she read the advertisement placed by Audrey, looking for a nanny, she immediately responded to the advertisement.

Audrey sat with her twin sons and enjoyed chocolate ice cream.

"Mommy, did you save the patient today?" Tristan asked while licking his ice cream spoon.

"Of course, baby two. That person is a minister's cousin and no one dares to carry out the operation because they are afraid of failure," Audrey answered with a serious expression. "Wait a minute, mommy will turn on the television first."

"What disease does he suffer from, mom?" Thiery asked enthusiastically.

"He had a very serious case of appendicitis. His intestines were so thin that if he made the slightest mistake, it would immediately burst and cause him to die."

"Oh, that's terrible," commented Tristan, shuddering.

They continued eating ice cream while chatting, and the financial news on television said that the company owned by a famous businessman, Liam Leonardo Keagan, had just acquired another big project, and he had become the richest man in the world.

One thing that is most highlighted about this handsome bachelor is his secret love life, which has sparked a lot of public speculation.

"Mommy, that man looks a lot like us," said Tristan pointing to the television screen.

Audrey gasped and quickly grabbed the television remote to switch the broadcast. She didn't pay attention to what was being broadcast at all because she was busy chatting with her children.

"Mom, why are you turning off the television," protested Thiery, pouted.  "That man on television, is he our daddy, mom?"

"Ah, there are lots of similar people in this world, baby one. That's definitely just a coincidence," said Audrey evasively.

She quickly opened the refrigerator and took out a frozen pizza. "Who wants to eat pizza?"

"Pizza! Me!" said Tristan.

"I want too," added Thiery.

The twins cheered and quickly finished their ice cream so they could eat pizza.  Audrey breathed a sigh of relief because she managed to divert the two's attention.

After finishing eating pizza, Audrey checked her children's school bags one by one and made sure they had packed their books to take to school the next day.

She accompanied the twins to brush their teeth and read stories before they went to bed.

Audrey kissed Tristan and Thiery on the forehead after they both fell asleep and left the room.

Audrey decided not to eat dinner and put in all the food that Mrs. Pram made into the refrigerator. She then took a shower and after that sat on the sofa to check the letters that Mr. Pram took out from the mailbox this afternoon.

Audrey opened all the letters carefully.  Mostly just insurance offers and product advertising leaflets from certain stores, a prepaid credit card bill and an invitation to join a practical cooking club for busy women.

Audrey put everything away, and saw a thin, plain white envelope. On the front of the envelope only the name Audrey Ellenora Jace is written, without an address, and there is also no sender's name or address.

Audrey's brow furrowed, especially when she opened the envelope and there was only a piece of black paper inside.

The paper was folded in half and when Audrey unfolded it, there was only white writing, "I found you!"

Audrey's face turned pale. She flipped through the paper, trying to find any signs that would indicate who had sent the strange letter.

"Maybe it's just a joke," Audrey muttered.

She tried to calm herself, but her heart was also restless. She was in the same city as Liam, she had to always be alert and she decided to check the CCTV camera installed in the apartment lobby area tomorrow morning to see if there was anyone suspicious.

Meanwhile, after their mother came out and closed the bedroom door, the twins quickly got up.

"Do you still remember that man's name?" Tristan whispered.

Thiery nodded and turned on the iPad, then entered the search page and typed in the name Liam Leonardo Keagan.

"Are you sure he is our father?" Thiery whispered.

Tristan nodded firmly. "Yes. He looks a lot like us and I think, seeing how mommy is changing the conversation so quickly and awkwardly, I am sure that he is related to us."

"Okay. Let's look for him after school tomorrow," said Tristan.

"Yes, let's look for our father!"
