I sighed deeply, and dropped the cutleries on the table as I watched Natalie stomped away in anger. I reached out to the white napkin on the table, and wiped my lips with it. I threw it into the trash bin, and stood up from the chair.

I walked out of the dining room, heading to my study room. I shut the door behind me as I walked into the room. I sat down on the chair with my legs crossed.

"Come to my study room,"I ordered as I mind-linked to Mark, my Beta.

I snapped my head out of my thoughts, and looked up as a knock landed at the door. "Come in,"I said, and almost immediately the door pulled open revealing Mark, who walked in with his head bowed in respect.

"Good day, Alpha,"he greeted him with his head bowed in respect.

"How is your night?"I asked as I flipped to the next page of the book on my last palm.

"It's fine,"he responded.

"Do you know where Brian is?"I asked, and he raised his eyebrows.

"Why do you ask, Alpha? What do you need it for?"he asked, and I scoffed.
