67. Poor fetus

In front of the bed in a room, a neatly dressed man stood while gently rubbing the bridge of his nose. The clock on the wall reads 8 a.m., but his wife has yet to wake up.

His gaze fell on a woman who was still sleeping under a navy-colored bedcover. The woman's bulging belly looked like a hill under the thick blanket.

Jonathan pulled the bedcover that Elena used to cover her body, although he was reluctant to do so. However, his concern for the condition of the fetus in Elena's stomach was so great that this morning he planned to take his wife to the gynecologist.

"Eng," Elena murmured as Jonathan pulled back the blanket she was wearing.

"Get ready. We should be at the hospital in 20 minutes."Jonathan ordered with both hands tucked into his pants pockets. He had made an appointment with Lucas, the obstetrician whom Theresia trusted.

Elena reached back for the blanket that now only covered her calves and below. She then tilted her body to face Jonathan. Elena's eyebrows knit together
