Chapter 11

I’ve been at this desk for nearly five hours now and I'm still confused as hell! I sigh and rub my eyes with my paws, looking out the window. I see that the sky has a purple hue. I can’t tell if the sun is going down or up. And of course it’s going up! Have I been up all night? I look at the shadow clock and see I wasn’t here for five hours, I was here for eight! Ugghhh! I watch as a blur zips past me. I look out the door to see Damian going out to exercise. He sees me at the desk.

“Find something interesting?” He asks.

“Don’t even ask…” I begin to threaten when a yawn escapes from my mouth. “I didn’t sleep.”

“Oohhh.” He cringes. Wait a minute! Now I understand! I looked over at Ember’s notes again to see that she was writing this down to test Damian! Hmm I need to sleep first then see about all of this later. “Hope you sleep tonight.” He says before heading out. I decided to follow him and see what he does.
