*Damian*
I was finally happy! Ember was mine and she will continue to be mine until she says she no longer wants me but I have a feeling she’ll never let me go. Honestly, I don’t mind it either. Since Ember and I were still not ready for each other’s company yet, I slept in my bed until she could grow more comfortable with me. I flicked out the light in the lantern and headed straight for bed. I fell asleep in no time.*Flashback* I woke up to the sound of thunder outside as it rumbled the ground below me. I get out of my bed to watch the storm from my window. I narrow my eyes as I see something moving in the trees. I squint to see what it is but all I can make out is a shadow. It drew closer as it walked. I see that it’s a man! He appears to be in his early forties from what I saw, not much taller than my father, and he wore some kind of robe. *Damian* I come outside for some fresh air to let my lungs breathe some fresh air. I paced the yard not wanting to invoke the Yokai any more than I had to. I’ve been at this desk for nearly five hours now and I'm still confused as hell! I sigh and rub my eyes with my paws, looking out the window. I see that the sky has a purple hue. *Unknown* I teleported by lightning bolt to land on mortal grounds. I sensed that something powerful had come to these lands. I looked around the area to see that trees have been leveled by a single blast of power. Footprints are scorched on the ground and the river is full of sulfur and brimstone. Is there a demon here? *Ember, Three Months Later* It's been almost 4 months since Damian and I started dating and 3 months since our talk. *Ember* It's been over a week since Damian finally remembered his past and a week since Bella and Casey left. Damian decided that we should take a walk today. Binx of course had to come along with us. We walked hand in hand as Binx trotted ahead, eyeing up the birds in the tree canopy above us. "Binx Mayflower, don't even think about it." He shoots me a look over his shoulder. "I'm not thinking about anything. I'm just admiring the beauty of nature." He says with a smirk as we walk into a clearing. "Sure." I roll my eyes. Damian stifles his laughter. "You got an issue?" I turned my attention to him. "Nope." He says as his stomach growls. "Okay maybe I do have a hunger issue." I start to laugh at him when my stomach growls too. "Sounds like you have a hunger issue too." He says while laughing. My face flushes as I turn my head. "Maybe." Damian looks around. "There might be something to eat around here." His eyes scan the tree tops before they stop.
