The day was already getting dark, as the bell that was hung on the tower of the castle had begun to ring.

Beatrice sighed.

She had already told the Coachman to stay back at home but there was no way she'd be able to go back home again.

Turning to Lady Herbert that was done packing, she smiled...

"Such a hard-working lady, it's quite a shame I don't have a brother to woo you," Beatrice said.

"Ha, don't even mention it. Herbert does not want to get married hen e the delay. She has refused so many suitors all in the name of 'not the right time and not the right person.' Lady Yuan said.

The bell rang again louder than the first, making the two women stand up.

"It is time we leave, we wouldn't want the Lord to come search for us, would we?" Herbert asked as she grabbed the small bag.

Beatrice nodded as she picked up her bag and they began to leave the meadow.
