“Wait, girl! He… you two are going to a vacation?” Moli asked with her eyes wide open.
“Yeah.”
“Just the two of you?”
I nodded and looked at her. “Girl, you’re thinking other things aren’t you?” I asked and raised an eyebrow at her.
“No! I mean, you two aren’t that close or you two are close, but you two are close and didn’t just tell us…?”
“No! Of course… not! We’re not that close. I just happen to run onto him yesterday and you know, I’ve hit him. And we both gotten into an accident. Moli, I owe him my life.” I explained.
“Uh-huh. And why is that?”
“What?”
“Why do you owe him your life?”
“You’ve heard about the earthquake that happened in Makati yesterday, right?” I asked and she nods as she sips her shake.
