28. Jealousy

Amidst the muffled sounds, Cedric discerned the unmistakable voice of Virginia—her tones, both seductive and innocent, intertwining with his father's. A mixture of jealousy, anger, and betrayal swelled within him, threatening to consume his every thought and action.

His first instinct was to barge into the room, to confront the scene before him and demand an explanation. Yet, a fleeting moment of clarity and rationality held him back. Cedric knew deep down that such impulsive actions would only bring further chaos and pain to an already fragile situation. He was not in the situation to be mad, after all. His father, Gerald, was the only one with a right over Virginia officially.

“Gerald, where are you touching? Nnnhh...”

That irresistible voice was very different with the tones Virginia used to speak with him, drowning him deeper in an ocean of jealousy. But at the same time, he wasn’t aware that he was somehow excited. But he hadn’t realized it just yet.
