Gio never says another word as we eat in silence and stayed that way through the entire ride to the vineyard. The silence spoke volumes as we followed the tour guide through the fields of the vineyard as they named the different types of grapes and wines they made. My mind was racing as I wondered what was running through his, It was beyond unnerving as I watched him interact with the other couples on the tour. He never said a word to me as I silently followed alongside him as we navigated the large fields. I was finished with him giving me the silent treatment if he was upset the least, he could do was say something. Deciding I finally had enough I stopped in my tracks and waited for him to notice I was no longer following beside him. It hadn’t taken very long as he abruptly stopped then closed the distance between us still refusing to speak as he gave me a quick once over. “Gio what is the matter with you?”
