The ride home was chaotic, and so were the voices in my head. Every single time I leave Arabella, I come back with another secret. First was the whole paternity sham with my son, second was the real killer of my father, and third… the third was now Mia binding me under a spell.

I glanced sideways at her as I drove, her words fading into the background. While she screamed into the air and said all sorts of profanities, I looked at her face and wondered I she was capable of doing just that—robbing me of my life.
