Chapter 14

In the following days that came, Alyssa kept to herself and abstained from going to the upper floor where Ace lived. She did her usual routine but didn't encounter Ace or his girlfriend. Alpha Larole had also permitted her to have left during the weekends, but he had asked her to see him in his office before she left for her break that weekend.

Hesitant, Alyssa knocked politely at the door.

"Come in" Alpha Larole's voice boomed.

Alyssa walked in with her small bag which contained the things she had packed for her break. "Morning Alpha Larole."

Alpha Larole glanced at the bag, "Oh I see you're all packed up. I won't take much of your time, so you can leave early." He gestured to the chair, "Sit."

"Thank you," Alyssa said and took her seat. She put her bag on her lap and avoided Alpha Larole's eyes. A part of her already knew why he asked to see her.

"How has your stay here been?"

Alyssa thought for a while. She wanted to tell him how much she loathed waking up in the mansion every day
