I groaned as I stretched out across the soft bed, my body aching. My eyes fluttered open and I sitffled a yawn as I tried to turn my body around, but couldn't move. The King's arms were wrapped around my body protectively, holding me tightly to his chest as he slept.
I blushed, my cheeks burning brightly as memories of last night flooded back. All I could think about was the feeling, it was indescribable pleasure. I smiled brightly, energy seeming to course through me as I tried to turn to face the King, Elijah. I gasped in surprised as I saw his dark green eyes already staring down at me.
He stared at me with no expression, but his eyes spoke volumes. Adoration swam through them as I smiled up at him. "Good morning, my King" I said softly leaning my head against his chest. He leaned down and pressed a kiss to my neck, making me moan soflty as his tongue brushed over his mark.

CHAPTER 20 _____ MARIAH The princess was more beautiful than i could have thought possible. I sat quietly at the breakfast table somewhere near the middle while the King sat at the head with the princess by his side. I was offered the seat to his other side, but how could I take it? CHAPTER 21 MARIAH The days became monotnous and repetitive as the King prepared for the official announcement of his engagement to the Princess, Jessabelle.
