Chapter 25 – Persistence
He expected such interruption from her, but he’s not exactly going to stop. There’s still so much he wants to tell her.
“You’re right. Anyway, we have implemented many changes within the pack. It’s much stronger now. Pack members all wanted to protect the territory. We trained rigorously. Caleb returned and is now acting Alpha of the pack while I’m away. I can’t guarantee that we would be able to fend off any enemy. All I know is we’ve gotten stronger than before. Alice, let’s go back. You can return to the pack and we’ll protect you.”
Although his brother already mentioned this, hearing him actually say it still came as a surprise to her. He wants her to go back? With him? To the pack?

Alice tossed and turned on the bed. She tried many times to sleep but she just couldn’t. Her mind kept changing its stance. She should come up with a final answer.
