Marwan's words had been bugging me throughout, I know what he said shouldn't bother me but I still have it hard to let it out of my head.

"Umm... Matilda, can I ask you something?" I whirled my chair facing her.

"Sure what is it?" She replied back with a hint of curiosity in her voice.

"How do I look?" Her brows squinted in confusion. "I mean do I look okay, you know my appearance," I added almost immediately.

"God Yasmin! I thought it's something serious. Why do you even have to ask? You're a beautiful woman, I like how you keep your natural face and how you cover your head as a Muslima. I don't know much about Islam but I like how they dress," folding her arms across her chest she whispered. "Did someone told you you're ugly? Tell me and I will break his/her legs." She pulled her hands in a fake fist.

"No one I'm just curious."

For some reason, I didn't want to tell Matilda about it just in case.

"Now let's get back to work," I said changing the topic.
