Find Him

It didn't take much for Ashlyn to find Elijah.

The man was leaning against the giant tree with his head lowered, and his feet kicked the pebble in front of his leg, playing with it. It almost felt as though the man was sulking.

Ashlyn silently stared at him for a second, enough for him to notice her presence. Seeing how he didn't acknowledge her made her feel even more angry, and she stomped forward, about to burst in rage.

"What's up with you all of a sudden, Elijah? Wasn't everything just fine? Why are you throwing a tantrum again? That too in front of the Alpha. Do you know how embarrassing it is?!" Ashlyn's voice rose high.

Even then Elijah didn't bother looking at her and treated her as though she was invisible.

Noticing how the pebble had her full attention and he was still playing with it made her further irritated. She kicked the pebble with all her might, releasing her anger, and had it fly high to a large distance.
