The room was thick with tension that emanated from the high-ranking adult male werewolves in the room. Two of them were the Alphas of their respective packs— Azure Lake and Crystal. The rest of them present held a lot of prominence as well.

There was fierce expression visible on the face of the Alpha of Azure Lake's face. A scar ran down his face, and it was a sign of shame for him since usually werewolves in high ranking position didn't have wound marks on their body due to their fast healing abilities. Along with these marks were old stories and deep grudges.

Crystal Pack's Alpha appeared to be at more at ease compared to him. There was a bracelet in his hand, and he played with the beads. There was relaxation written in his eyes, and his mood seemed to be out of place compared to the rest.

The other werewolves weren't able to hide their palpable fear. They knew how coldhearted and monstrous these two Alphas can be, and on a whim, they could
