Chapter Forty

Immediately I entered the sitting room, I saw my mum sitting on the couch, and she looked surprised to see me. "Did anything happen in your room?" She asked immediately.

"No nothing happened, why do you ask?" I asked her back.

"I'm actually surprised you are here right now, I didn't expect you, because whenever you are here, you are always in your room for a long time." My mother said,

"Well nothing happened, but I just wanted to come here first, and sit with you for a while." I said, and walked closer to her on the couch she was sitting on, and had my seat beside her.

"Hmm," she exhaled. "This is strange though, but believe me I like it." She said, and I just smiled.

"You know, you are all we have now, and I really love having you around me." She said,

"I know mum, and that's why I'm here now." I told her, and she just pulled me into a hug, while I hugged her tightly.

After a while we finally disengaged from the hug. "So mum, where is dad, since I got here I haven't seen him anywhere
