Mike and Mika looked at their father and were curious about the phone call.
“Daddy looks happy,” Mike said as Cade turned off the phone, leaving only a complimentary comment for the caller. “Did Daddy manage to persuade Mommy to stay here?”Cade wouldn’t be happy if she stayed. But he was satisfied that he would soon be able to conquer Fay Willmer’s stubbornness. That girl wouldn’t be able to refuse his offer anymore.“The deadline isn’t up yet. There are still two days left. I’m trying. But I’m sure Miss Willmer will be happy to be your nanny.” Cade told the kids who almost cheered at the news.It might be a good thing if the girl became their nanny.
