"So, Miss Willmer. Do you think you can climb up in the Blair family by becoming my son's secretary?" Susan Blair no longer tried to make small talk.

Fay had expected to face a tougher attack from the Blair matron.

"Madame is very considerate of me. I should be grateful." Fay quipped with a smile still gracing her lips.

Susan snorted in annoyance. She had never met such a shameless young girl.

"I've seen many young girls. You are the most disgusting. Don't ever expect to be part of the Blair family. You don't deserve it and never will." Susan's tone was sharp and piercing.

No one would be able to face her without getting hurt.

Fay was not spared from her stabs. Especially lately she had become quite sensitive about her social status. It was also what made her leave Cade's place and give up a comfortable life as the twins' nanny.
