I sat at the edge of my bed, tying my shoelaces as I waited for Ty.

Last night, we went and had dinner with his parents, and we came back early soon after to what I thought was a good night's rest, but between the heat of our mating bond, lovemaking, and the nerves of my first day of training, I got very little sleep. I don't think I slept past three hours, but I was still pumped with adrenaline to get this day started.

Ty explained that they would start training one of the packs we saw recently. I was excited to see that. It made me feel a little less self-conscious about being the new one in the group.

The restroom door opened, and Ty came out in nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. I couldn't help but drool over him. "Wow. He's such a hunk." Amethyst fawns as she makes my eyes darken for a second so she can stare at him.

"Hey, he's mine, remember? But, Asher is all yours, baby pup." I say, making her chuckle.
