After training, I dragged myself to the room. I was worn out. Warmed up, jogged for fifteen miles, sit-ups, three hundred push-ups and hand to hand combat had done a number on my bones and muscles. There was seriously something wrong with Alaric.

How could he push a new trainee like me that hard?

I took my first shower of the day to wash all the sweat and dirt off my body and strolled into the room to find Zander sitting in the couch looking so fresh in his white shirt and white basketball pants. He had showered and his hair was curled and a mess but it looked absolutely good on him.

It gave him a bad-boy vibe and I loved it when he had that aura around him.

“ Enjoying the view...are we?” he smirked as he caught me ogling at him. He closed the book he was reading and started walking towards me. My heart reacted to him and began racing as my feet stood glued to the ground.

" I took my shower in the spare bathroom. How do you feel?” His moist soft lips touched my forehead
