Chapter 38

"good morning Angel" Bethel said,walking into Angel's room.

"Morning, Mom" the little girl pouted.

She had just finished bathing and was drying her body with a towel while waiting for Bethel to come join her.

"Mom,how was your night?" She asked Bethel who was bringing out her body cream.

"Fine and yours?"she asked with a small smile. The truth was that she didn't sleep throughout the night,she had cried to sleep. Those words Steph said to her were too heavy for her. She had never been so much insulted in her life.

"Mine was fine as well" Angel nodded,jolting Bethel out of her little world.

Soon, Bethel was done making the little girl put on her uniform. She was putting on her shoes for her when Harry walked in.

"Daddy!" Angel smiled as he bent to hug her.

"Good morning princess" he kissed her forehead.

Bethel was surprised he wasn't dressed for work, he was still in his night robe..
