Your Fault

[Massimo’s POV]

The following day, I arrive at the abandoned hospital early and begin to move, heading inside where my target was supposed to be. However, I'm met with emptiness from the cowards making a run for it.

Stepping over the broken furniture that still covers the ground from my attack the day before, I look around and feel the emptiness press against my skin, indicating that they had left the previous day.

Letting out a chuckle, I head toward Tatiana’s room just to confirm what I already know. Inside is empty, and everything she owned is gone.

“Do you really think you can get away from me?” I grin, pulling out my phone and opening the tracker app that I managed to insert into Knight when I shot him the night before. “You’re really not that careful, are you?"

Eyeing the app, I take in the blinking green spot that is just a town over before turning and heading out, where Giovani’s men are waiting for me with expectant looks on their faces.
