Chapter 108: 5 Years Later

ALLYSA'S POV

5 YEARS LATER

“Ariel can you stop taking too long in the toilet? You only asked to wee and not to sleep in there, you don't want mummy to be late do you?” I asked, walking towards her bedroom but she suddenly jumped out of her hiding place. “Taa_daa!” She screamed as I held my chest.

“Ariel, have a care, you scared me.” I said sternly.

“Sorry mom, wanted to make you smile, the older kids in school plays hide and seek and it's usually very fun.” She said as I smiled.

She explains things like I never went to school and it amazes me. “Is your car gonna break down again?” She asked and I laughed out loud.

I got a fairly used car three years back, on Ariel's second birthday and it's been giving me issues but I've decided to keep it because it holds a lot of memories. Just then, Max walked into the house, smiling as Ariel ran up to him.

“Uncle Max!” She screamed as he lifted her into his arms, kissing her cheeks and making her giggle.

“Are you startling mummy?” He asked and sh
