As I approached the gates to Leah's house, my hands on the steering vibrated, my body trembling as I forcefully stopped the car, bumping into the gate as the security guard stepped out of his hiding spot cause he definitely wasn't doing his duty.

“What do you think you're doing Mr?” He thundered but I couldn't care less.

“Your mistress, where's she? I need to speak with her.” I said, trying to walk past him but he held me back, blocking my path in the process.

“You cannot just walk in like you own everything in there, it's terrible and my mistress is a very __”

“Demonic human who shouldn't be roaming about freely amongst humans. I bet she's a beast!” I screamed, hoping anyone would hear from inside.

Just then, an older lady walked out through the gate with a scowl on her face. “What was the noise J, wh__” she stopped talking, her eyes narrowing slightly on me as I stood staring into her eyes.

“Where's she? Did she suddenly lose the wings she had? Or you clipped them somewh
