Chapter 127 Shameful feelings

"What did you plan to do if General Caldwell had successfully freed you from those ropes?" Prince Zane asks Aria.

Aria wiped the tears that were running down her eyes with her hand.

"Would you have told him the same secret you shared with me after taking off your necklace? I'm sure you wanted him to accept you so that you could run away with him just like he wanted."

Aria stared at Prince Zane's back, his back was still facing her. General Caldwell was dead, no one was planning to run away anymore, and yet Prince Zane sounded like he was jealous and angry.

Aria thought of his questions, a part of her wanted General Caldwell to know the truth, perhaps she would have been able to like him for real if he was able to accept her, maybe she would have willingly run away with him.

"I don't know." Aria lied.

"Remember the question I asked you months ago about your mate?" Prince Zane asks, "Are all werewolves like you? Full of lies and always go against their words?"
