Luca’s POV The whole thing which I had gotten from the mall yesterday was still at a particular spot in the hallways, beside the staircase. The smaller things like brushes and water colors had all been arranged there, while the way bigger things like standing boards, blank posters and the like were all arranged in the dining room. It was supposed to be all sorted out this morning, hopefully – because the only thing which held me from arranged the whole thing was because I still haven’t been given a particular room. But then I had hoped that Luca would return home early yesterday, since it was a Sunday and it had seemed like he wouldn’t be leaving the house throughout the whole day, but I had obviously thought wrong, because as soon as I had returning back from the mall, was at the same time that he had also gone out – and unfortunately didn’t end up returning until after I had ended up falling asleep.I moved around in the bathroom and picked up the shampoos in order to wash my ha
Sofia’s POV I made my way out of the walk-in closet as soon as I was done with dressing up and running my comb through my hair. I had paired my feet with a pair of black sandals with thin straps, that was what I was going to be wearing in the house, through the whole of today. I pulled the door close behind me and made my way into the bedroom once again, walking around the huge bed in the room and making my way towards the other side of the bed, towards the bedside table where my phone was located.I picked up my phone and turned around on my heels as I started to make my way out of the room, before slowly pausing in my track and turning around on my heels before making my way towards the bed. I dropped my phone on the tip of the bed and started to make my way towards the walk-in closet, in order to find something which I could use in holding my hair together. It had suddenly occurred to me as I was about to make my way out of the bedroom, that I’d be doing a lot of things today,
Sofia’s POV As I was about to take another sip from the steaming cup of next to tasteless coffee, I heard footsteps echoing behind me, from the entrance of the kitchen and I turned my head around slightly in order to see what was happening behind me, with my cup of coffee still clutched in my hands. My eyes landed on Matilda almost immediately and I flashed her a tiny smile before turning back around and lifting my cup up to my lips to drag in smother tiny sip, scrunching my face up once again and forcing down the hot liquid down my throat. It was really heatic force down my throat and I was seriously starting to imagine how people prefer this, over the mixture of coffee mixed with milk, cream and sugar.“Good morning, Mrs Ricci.” Matilda said to me as she made her way towards my side of the counter to pause beside me, with her elbows placed on tne top of tbe counter, beside where my phone was, exactly beside my left elbow. She focused a really bright smile my way as soon as I tu
Sofia’s POV I slide down the high chair I had been sitting on before Matilda had made her way into the kitchen and picked up the now lukewarm cup of coffee and started to make my way towards the sink, ignoring Matilda’s requests and protests of me not allowing her to go empty my cup for me, like she had wanted at first. I turned the content of the cup into the sink and opened the water from the stainless control at the bottom of the tap and started to rinse the cup and spoon beneath the cold water.I moved my weight from foot to foot as I completely rinsed the cup before placing it on the side of the counter, with the hopes of me washing my hands before proceeding to place the cup into the dish washer. Matilda beat me to it and had grabbed up the cup and spoon before I could finish washing my hands with a little soap, and had quickly proceeded to stack the cup and spoon into the dish washer, ignoring my small arguments.I breathed out a small sigh as I turned off the cold water and
Sofia’s POV I allowed my eyes to slide open after a little while and I started to absent mindedly move my feet a little, loving how cute my feet looked at this very moment, as it looked all clad in a pair of pop socks and a pair of sandals coupled with some really thin straps. I puffed out a deep breath and dragged in another one in the very next second, the fact that I was planning to start the whole painting thing today, even though I knew perfectly well that I hadn’t started to watch any kind of tutorial video relating to painting yet.I knew that I could just start watching one of those videos right now, since it wasn’t like I was actually doing a single thing at this very moment, but I still wasn’t feeling really up for it.Perhaps I’d start to watch them after I have gotten some food into my stomach as well as all of my drugs. And if I end up setting up the whole place where I’d be painting in, I might just not start a thing yet if time have already gone too much in today, and
Luca’s POV I washed my hands for the uptenth time today beneath the cold water of the tap in the kitchen and moped my hands on the towel hanging off the hook on the top of the wall before turning around and existing the empty kitchen, heading straight into the sitting room, all the while, my fingers were absentmindedly playing against the edge of my skirt as I stepped into the sitting room and headed straight for one of the windows in the sitting room. I moved my eyes towards the wall to eye the huge clock hanging off the wall. It was recently past one in the afternoon and I knew I needed to find the guards and get whatever it was that Luca had relayed to them, because I was just sure that he had left me a message for them. I placed my phone on the couch which was closest to me at the moment and turned around to place my hands against the curtains, using my barely firm grip to flutter the curtains around a little, dragging in deep breaths into my lungs as the cold air or the sittin
Sofia’s POV “Ma’am?” She echoed as she turned her head until she was staring at me. I breathed out an exasperated sigh and resisted the urge to throw my arms around as I started to speak almost immediately. “It’s Sofia, and not ma’am.” I said to her firstly, watching as she stared at me confusingly for a few moments before realization started to cross her face in the next moment.“Oh, I’m sorry ma’am, I mean Sofia.” She breathed out and I huffed out another slow breath, feeling tired because no matter all what I had said to Matilda about me preferring if I was being referred to as Sofia, and not ma’am or Mrs Ricci, like they had wanted to start referring to me as, immediately they sighted me, the very next day after I had gotten married.Although Sarah barely refer to me as ma’am or Mrs Ricci which I was really pleased with, Matilda’s case was quite different. She was always referring to me as either ma’am or Mrs Ricci every blessed day, and of course, I’d proceed to correct her and
Sofia’s POV “Good afternoon, Mrs Ricci.” They both echoed out at the same time and I nodded my head once before finally starting to speak. “Hello Ethan, and Ryan.” I breathed out and stared into the slight gap between both of their shoulders, refusing to meet their eyes as I continued.“Good afternoon, how have your been today?” I echoed out and watched as Ethan barely acted like he had heard what I had said, and Ryan had shrugged his right shoulder a little and that was it.“Anyways, I wanted to ask you guys if Luca left me a message with you guys.” I said to them and finally dragged my eyes upwards and settled my eyes on both of them at the same time, refusing to dwell too much on Ryan’s face because it felt like he and I shared a certain secret which no one else knew about and the thought alone was making me feel so type of way, which was why I was completely avoiding to stare into his face as much as I can.“Oh, a message?” Ethan breathed out and I nodded my head once, with my h
