Chapter 37: Frustration and Sufferings

After revealing my thoughts to them, I sought solace in a relaxing bath. Immersed in lukewarm water, I allowed the tension and unease that had built up within me to dissipate. We occupied an entire floor of the nearby hotel, ensuring our privacy and seclusion from any interruptions.

The weight of my concerns for Thaddeus and Theodore, especially since disclosing the encounter with the man who claimed to be my mate, had been heavy on my mind.

As I got out and wrapped myself in a robe, I stormed out from the bathroom to see them on the balcony, talking with each other. I stealthily walked in that direction and happened to overhear what they were saying.

"We just need to separate them. That is all that we need to do," Thaddeus said as he let out the smoke from the cigar he was smoking.

Theodore let to the railings with his arms crossed. "Are you certain, Thad? He will be returning soon from Alpha King Azarius' mission, too, right?"

"By the time he will come home, Severin and Kasumi ar
