[ Rain ]

Our ride back home was awfully quite. Nicholas tried to make some small conversations but I was too engrossed in my thoughts that I paid least attention on anything going around me.

I have to fix my messed up life and I needed a much needed space from him to focus on what I actually want from him or my life. I know I'd be a bitch to cut him off slightly but it's for our own good.

By the time, he parked the car in the garage, the rain has taken more fierce shape.

"I hate rain." He grumbles looking outside.

"I know you can never be fond of rain." I say in a teasing manner as we head our way to the main house.

"Is it a pun?" He narrows his eyes on me.

"Depends on your feelings,"I shrug my shoulders.

"I am sorry, Rain. I never meant to hurt you but I did and I regret it every single second I breathe." He looks guilty when he said it.
