"You seem bothered. What thoughts hooked you to be in this deep state?"
I lifted my head and saw Grande in front of me. She walks to my side and sat while holding a cup and a bottle of liquor. I don't know where did she get that, perhaps, she found it inside.
"Something troubling I pondered deeply to sort out."
She chuckles and downed her drink. My thoughts zoned out again and the disturbing silence engulfed my nerves. Not until Grande nudged the cup on my arm. The cold metal against my bare skin jolted me from my trance.
"Have a taste. It will forget your subtle thinking for a while."
I accepted the cup without a fuss and drank the liquor she poured. The bittersweet whiff of the liquor dampened my throat and somehow, the bleak tinge soothes my thoughts for a moment.
"Care to tell me your problem?" she suddenly asked.
My eyes stared from nowhere and after a minute of being mute, I peeked at her.
