Chapter 30

Darkness overruled the sky and evening seems dingy and dangerous for the time being. However, I held the binocular and lifted my awareness while scrutinizing the surrounding from the high spot of this building where I stood.

"Hey..."

I put down the binocular and turned my back to face him.

"Hey," I greeted and smiled a bit. "Haven't talked to you for a long time."

He chuckles lightly and walks to my side. My grip from the binocular tightened as I leaned in the railings. While he settled his hands in the balustrades and gazed below.

"Yeah. You were surrounded by cool people. I can't stand a chance to have a chat. Your time was colonized almost by them."

"Herofus," I laughed a little. "I'm free to have a conversation anytime. You're just sheepish to roll along."
