I was all smiles the whole time of the class discussion. She took my hand. Was she trying to give me the initiative? I don’t know. Vivienne was so hard to predict. But then, I was still happy.
Breaktime came. I was about to approach Vivienne but she went with Chelsea and Sheena. I hurried to them and blocked their way.
“Aren’t you going to eat with me?” I asked.
“Huh?” She asked, confused. “Why would I do that? I am with my friends.”
I frowned.
“Silly! I guess it’s your first time being in a relationship. Of course, that’s the normal thing that teen couples do. Eat together. Go out together.”
“We are not teen couples.” Vivienne cut Chelsea out.
I was stunned. Did I assume too much? Is grabbing my hands didn’t mean anything to her? I gritted my teeth in embarrassment.
