A surge of terror rushed through me, fueling my actions as I contorted my body to fit through the narrow opening. It required me to jump and fit into the hole since it was still high. I gritted my teeth, my heart pounding in my ears as I jumped into the portal and got stuck.
“Huh?” He noticed the empty place where I should have been, “What the hell?!” He stomped down the stairs
I wriggled and twisted my body to move further.
Panic had gripped my actions and the fear in me got worse when he came down and noticed where I was, “Hey!” His stern voice reached my ears, causing me to fasten my movement and slip further out. I grabbed onto the grass on the other side to pull myself while I heard him stomp his way towards me.
