Fine Liar

Scarlett's pov

I waved him goodbye and closed the door behind me.

"Yes! Yes yes yes yes!" I screamed as I jumped for joy and punched the air. As I celebrated in my room, I toppled a ceramic vase. It fell and crashed on the floor.

"Oops. That's my favourite vase," I whispered. I wasn't upset that I had broken it. The excitement I felt because of that wonderful kiss was too much. I couldn't believe that he actually liked me. We could be together.

Heaving a sigh, I looked at the shattered pieces of ceramic lying on the marble floor. That has to be cleaned. I could take care of it later or ask one of the omegas for help. Although we were the leaders, my parents preferred that I cleaned up after myself. The omegas weren't our slaves - they would say.

Anyway, I freshened up, changed my clothes, and slumped onto the bed. Still smiling like a fool, I hugged my bolster and stared at the white ceiling.
