“Why not? He's complimenting me, at least, and I appreciate that. Or are you saying that I'm not pretty? Probably not your type?” I grinned. “Kasi ang type mo, iyong mga kauri mo? Like Denise? Alodia?”

“He's always like that. Complimenting girls is natural for him. That's his nature.”

“And I'm happy I'm on his list!” I clapped, grinning.

“And I said I don't like Denise and Alodia.”

“And I'm not pretty? Buti pa si Ruan, nagagandahan sa akin.”

“Ikaw lang nag-iisip niyan,” walang ganang sabi niya pero halatang yamot na.

“Really? I'm not convinced,” I said, mocking his line.
