Chapter 140 - Ultimatum

"I thought I told you to go home last night Mr.Davis." The doctor says as Domenic slowly slips out of bed. "And I told you I wasn't going anywhere." He says as she puts his shoes on and I sit up so the nurse can take my blood pressure.

"When can I go home?" I ask bringing the doctor's attention to me.

"After the nurse finishes the check up. Your father called and said he was going to bring you your things, I'll go and write the discharge papers." I nod my head and smile as Domenic sits next to me.

"So fast, don't you want to do some more tests? High blood pressure can be a sign of preeclampsia, that's dangerous for her and the baby." Domenic asks as he holds my hand, I never thought I'd see him this concurred and the fact he read so many books just to be able to help and understand my pregnancy is so adorable.
