Chapter 44 - A familiar face

"You don't need to sell it." Domenic argued with Summer because she wanted to sell the apartment he gave her as a present.

"Need I remind you Dad cut me off. I moved in with Anthony so I dont really need that apartment but what I do need is money so I can help Anthony open up the restaurant."

Summer was handling this situation better than I could have imagined. She was in love and ready to take on the world with her husband. The sudden cut in her budget didn't scare her, she was determent to make it work.

"Your brother is right sweety, you dont have to sell anything, as far as the restaurant is concerned I have everything covered." Anthony said on the other side of the kitchen island as he poured us a glass of wine while we sat and ate.

"I want to help, and like I said we dont need that apartment." She said as she fed him a piece of meat from her fork.

"Why dont you hold on to the apartment just a little longer, it's always good to have some real estate. Just look at me, it's a go

Dominick literally just left her to face the vandalism alone, while also keeping secrets about his “meeting.” That’s sketchy AF, and such a shady thing to do to her.
