Chapter 82 - The good old times

I enter the house and I find Adam and Miguel sitting and talking in my living room looking at my childhood photo album.

"What are you two up to?" I ask and they quickly turn the album towards me.

"Nothing, we were just looking at how cute you were as a child." Adam said as he pointed to a picture where my mother was braiding my hair.

"Those were the good old times, back when everything was so simple." Or at least that's how Mom made it seem.

"Did he leave?" Adam asked.

"Yes, Alice was at his house, apparently she was acting strange so he went to talk with his father?" I say as Adam puts the album down.

"What do you mean she was acting strange?" Miguel asked as he stood behind Adam.

"He said she left abruptly in a hurry, apparently that's not like her." The one time I saw her at his house she felt more than comfortable being there, probably thinking it would be hers one day.

"Maybe she got a whiff of what was happening. She could be on the move." Miguel says, and it makes sense
