Author's POV....

Katrina smirked looking at Nathan's fallen face. She was about to say something but got interrupted.

"Tell me, Nathan." Jackson demanded an answer sternly.

While trying to brace himself together, Nathan tried to say, "Dad, I.." but couldn't get to complete.

"I can't believe you tried to help them who backstabbed me."

Nathan knitted his brows in confusion as Jackson continued, "You even tried to get help from Mack to save James."

Nathan spoke up keeping his head down, "Dad, I was just trying to"

Jackson spoke up again, "You were trying to do what, haan? What?"

Nathan kept his head down.

"Don't even think of it. Anyways, I don't want to keep any relationship with them. Nothing at all. Do you get that?"

Katrina and James exchanged glances being all shocked and James spoke up, "Jackson, you can't do that. It's just 2 days now before the wedding. You can't call it off now."
